SPCC PLANS: 40 CFR 112 has been revised!  By August 17, 2006,  your Spill Prevention, Control & Countermeasure Plans must be amended. Implementation of the Spill Plan - including a baseline inspection survey - must be completed by August 2006.

Petroleum storage facilities with an aggregate Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs) capacity of 1,320 gallons or Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) capacity of 42,000 gallons are regulated by the changes made.

It is now mandated that you use CERTIFIED API, STI and PE inspectors. AARON has them on staff!!!!

WATER IN TANKS: This is a bigger problem than most facility operators realize. As little as 50 gallons of water in a 10,000 gallon ethanol gasoline tank can kill the octane rating of the gasoline product!!! Microbial growth within the water can interally eat through your tankage - even fiberglass tanks!!!!
